the ocean
I am always at home by the ocean. In it's vast expanse, the giver and taker of life. I have been sick this whole week with three different ailments. When you are down, you might as well be down. Vacation is always a time to rest, but this really threw me for a loop. I had planned on having quality time with my family, not feeling miserable and barely able to speak without hacking a lung out. In my frustration, I came across this quote. What a gift, that I have been doing exactly this.
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”
I am truly blessed to have this time with them, instead of out riding my bike and exploring the local scenery, I am taking in my direct surroundings. You don't have to go far to see an infinite world right in front of your eyes.
